August is drawing to a close and the devotional book I thought would be ready this summer … isn’t. Sigh. No matter how well I think I’m doing in the patience category, God always seems to find new ways to remind me how much further I have to go.

One of my favorite Scriptures for girls is Psalm 45:11 -- "The king is enthralled by your beauty. Honor him, for he is your Lord." That's something we all need to learn: that we're beautiful inside and out, just because God made us!
