Verse of the week: Psalm 133:1

I’m in a ladies Bible study that’s working through “Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent” by Beth Moore. It’s interesting history-wise because it looks at a group of 15 Psalms that the Israelites sang and recited together as they traveled to Jerusalem 3 times each year for special festivals and religious ceremonies.

Divas in Disguise is getting closer to becoming a reality — I got page proofs from the printer this week! I’ve proofed it a couple of times for my publisher but she changed printers so they sent me another set for one more look-through. One of my favorite Scriptures for girls is Psalm 45:11 -- "The king is enthralled by your beauty. Honor him, for he is your Lord." That's something we all need to learn: that we're beautiful inside and out, just because God made us!
